Cowboys land Texas CB

Galena Park (Texas) North Shore cornerback Ricky Coxeff made one official visit and that was enough for him.
"I had a real good time on my trip to Oklahoma State," the 5-foot-11, 175-pound Coxeff said. "It was such a good time that I committed to them today on my visit."

Coxeff said the academic program was one of the main selling points.
"I want to major in business and finance. They have a real good program there. It looks like it will be a good fit for me. The people were really good on the whole trip."
Another factor that helped Coxeff choose the Cowboys over Wisconsin, Arizona and Mississippi State was the shot at early playing time.
"They've told me I can get on the field in a hurry. They are even talking about next fall having me play on special teams and being a back-up at cornerback."
