Cowboys, Huskers offer Jackson

Colleges are making there way to Seguin (Texas) High School on the recruiting trail and the Big 12 is definitely in the front of the line. Two offers from the conference have come for the 6-foot, 180-pound safety Desmond Jackson.
Jackson, who says he likes to play both cornerback and safety, is versatile enough to make the jump to the Division I level. Recruiting is certainly giving him a lot of options as to where.

"I have two offers right now from Oklahoma State and Nebraska," Jackson said. "My coach says that Texas A&M is getting close to offering and Texas has been sending me a lot of stuff lately. I'm very happy about those, Both are great schools and I could see myself going to either place."
Though he likes the two Big 12 schools, one in-state program definitely is the leader.
"My eyes are really set on Texas," Jackson said. "I've been talking with coach Duane Akina and he said he's going to come down to watch one of my games and check out my film. Hopefully an offer comes from them."
Jackson calls himself "explosive" and will show that off this weekend at the NIKE Training Camp this weekend in College Station along with teammates. He's been to both Texas and Texas A&M for their spring games.
"I'm not sure when I want to decide," Jackson said. "I can't make up my mind yet."
