Cowboys alone in talking to Iowa DE

Sioux City (Iowa) Heelan defensive end Kyle Bennett showed impressive skills during Saturday's NIKE camp in Manhattan, Kan. He is hopeful that some of the coaches gathered around the individual workouts saw something they liked.
"I really enjoyed the camp," the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Bennett said. "They had some really good coaches there to help us in the drills. I learned quite a bit through the drills that I can take home to help me become a better player. There were a lot of good players that I was able to compete against. It made me work my hardest so I could show I was able to play against the best there was at the camp."

Bennett couldn't help but notice the quantity of college coaches in attendance at the camp.
"When you look around and see all of the coaches, you almost want to get nervous," he said. "But, it just makes you want to work harder. This is a chance where they can see you in person working. At one time, I looked around in between rotations and there were seven different schools watching my group. Kansas State, Wyoming and Tulsa were the ones that I remember."
To date, only one school has been recruiting Bennett.
"Right now, I am only getting information and mail from Wyoming. Maybe that will change. Wyoming hasn't offered me a scholarship, yet, but they've been talking with my coach, so hopefully something will develop."
