Cowan has UCLA, UofA on his list

With other quarterbacks dropping off the lists of schools with commits being made, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco two-star quarterback Patrick Cowan is now moving up the list for several Division I schools.
Cowan, who is 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, has already visited Sacramento State and Idaho the last two weekends and it looks like he’s about to get busy again the rest of this month.

“I have an offer from Sac State and from Idaho,” he said. “I also have trips set up the next two weeks to UCLA and to Arizona. I’ve kind of had a weird recruitment. A lot of schools are talking to me late in the recruiting process. I’m just now trying to see where everything is going to fall in place.”
Cowan said he’s due to meet with Arizona’s coaches on Wednesday and he’s hoping to hear good news about an offer from the Bruins and Wildcats.
“UCLA has been calling and if I’m lucky enough to get an offer from one of them that would be really nice,” he said.
“But I really like the coaches at Idaho. Coach Smith, the quarterback coach, is a really nice guy. I know I want to make the best decision, so I’m going to see what develops at UCLA and Arizona.”
