Covington finds perfect fit
Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood two-star running back Chris Covington was looking for the perfect fit. It’s a good thing that he found it this past weekend at Georgia Southern.
“I made my decision, and I’ve committed to Georgia Southern,” Covington, who is 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, said. “They recruited me the whole way. They wanted me at running back, and I know that I can go in there and do some damage.”

Covington did have some offers from larger schools and heavy interest specifically from Arizona State and South Carolina, but in the end, he said he found the perfect fit at Southern.
“It fit and that’s all I was looking for,” he said. “As soon as I found it, I committed.”
