Countrys No. 1 CB selects three visits

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills defensive back Darrin Walls, the No. 1 cornerback prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings, has seven schools at the top of his list and says he has decided on three official visits.
"I think I have around 30 offers," Walls said. "I haven't narrowed it all the way down, but I have some schools at the top of my list.

"Florida, Notre Dame, Michigan, Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, and USC. They've all offered."
Asked if he has scheduled any of his official visits, Walls said, "No, but I'll take three for sure, Florida, Notre Dame, and Michigan. Those aren't my top three, but I know I'll visit them.
"I'll start setting them up in the next couple weeks. I don't know if I'll take all five visits.
"I'll start taking them at the beginning of the season. So I'll probably make a decision around the middle of the season."
Walls not only has an idea of when he will pick a college, he also knows what he's looking for.
"How comfortable I feel with the coaches will be important," Walls said. "Playing time. And how well I get along with my position coach."
The 6-foot-0 and 172 pound Walls made 52 tackles and intercepted six passes during his junior season. He has played cornerback, safety, running back, and slot-back for Woodland Hills.
