Could ATH follow brother to UDub

Van Nuys (Calif.) Montclair Prep athlete/dual-threat quarterback Marlon Yates has two words to describe himself – the playmaker.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound athlete contributed at quarterback, receiver, cornerback and free safety for his team this past season, racking up around 2,000 yards of total offense and 75 tackles.

So it’s no surprise that he’s already getting early mail from Washington, USC, UCLA, Kansas, Oklahoma and Miami. He’s yet to earn a scholarship offer, but he’s hoping to get an opportunity to take his game to the next level.
“I just love to make plays,” Yates said. “I do whatever it takes to get the job done.”
Washington might be the early team to beat with Yates, because his brother Robert Lewis is a freshman outside linebacker at UDub.
“That’s the team I’ve followed the most,” he said.
