Could Ashley head back to MSU

Former Los Angeles (Calif.) Venice running back Kenny Ashley has taken one official visit so far and that was to Boise State back in November. Ashley is still weighing his options and is still leaving open the possibility of going back to the school he originally committed to over a year ago.
Ashley, 5-8, 200 pounds was one of the top running backs in the West region a year ago. After committing early in the process to Mississippi State, Ashley switched his commitment to USC the day before Signing Day and signed with the Trojans. After failing to qualify, Ashley is now back on the map and is wide open at this time.

"I liked my visit to Boise State a lot but I haven't heard from them in awhile," Ashley said. "I'm not sure if they filled my position or what but it looks like that might not be an option for me. Oregon has started to recruit me and wants me to take a visit in early January and I'm planning to do that for sure.
"They haven't offered yet and said my offer will depend on how many scholarships they left to give. They said they're waiting on a couple of receivers and if they lose them, I'm next on the list, even though I don't play receiver.
"Another possibility is Arizona State. I'm hearing Washington WR coach Eric Yarber is probably going to leave and coach at ASU and I've known Coach Yarber for a long time. Washington has a ton of backs coming in so I wasn't really hearing from them but I think I would if he was at ASU.
"The more I think about it, the more I think I could end up just going back to Mississippi State. I've been talking with Coach Holliday and I wouldn't even need to trip out there because I've been there a few times already. I probably should have stayed with them last year to begin with so that would be ironic if things came full circle and I ended up back there."
