Cougars land SoCal WR

The Washington State Cougars have made a living over the years landing diamonds in the rough and appears they have landed another player who with a little polish could end up being a jewel of a get for the Cougars.
The player in question is wide receiver Jeshua Anderson (6-3, 190, 4.45) from Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft.

"Jeshua committed to Washington State on his visit," Taft coach Troy Starr said. "They like him as a wide receiver and they getting a good one who will see his best days as a football player ahead of him."
"Nevada was his other visit and there were other schools that were trying set something up with Jeshua later this month, but he must of liked Washington State because he committed to them."
The Cougars get a playmaker in Anderson as he caught 36 passes for 939 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 26.1 yards a catch.
Obviously Anderson knows what to do with the football once he gets his hands on the ball.
In an earlier interview with Starr, he had the following to say about Anderson's abilities.
"Jeshua is a later bloomer," Starr said. "He went from a partial starter early last season to our No. 2 receiver by the end of the season. Jeshua caught three touchdown passes against Sylmar in our semi-final game.
"This guy is truly unique," Starr said. "He is off the charts with potential."
"Jeshua is a quiet kid who is light maintenance," Starr said. "He's only going to get better because he has Jerry Rice like work ethic."
Good get for Washington State.
