Cougars land Northwest standout

The Washington State Cougars appear to have landed three-star offensive lineman Eddie Vickers (6-4, 308, 5.1) from Vancouver (Wash.) Columbia River. The word is Vickers has been trying to call Cougar coaches to tell them the good news.
The word is Vickers has left messages on both offensive coordinator Mike Levenseller’s and offensive line coach George Yarno’s cell phones to let them know that he wants to be a Cougar.

“I’m going to keep calling the coaches until I reach them,” Vickers said.
According to Vickers dad, Ed Vickers, Sr., it is a done deal.
Vickers will be joining his teammate Brian Baird as a Cougar.
The Cougars under Bill Doba have continued the fine work that was started by Mike Price.
The Cougar program is in very good hands with Doba and company.
