Waco (Texas) University offensive lineman Ryan Young took his first official visit of the season after pushing back a visit to Arkansas several times.

“I decided to take a visit to Houston,” the 6-foot-6, 303-pound Young said. “They had an opportunity for me to visit that worked on my schedule, too.

“I had a really good time. I enjoyed talking with the coaches and meeting some of the players. It is a good school that has a lot of positives for it. But, I still like Arkansas. They are still my top choice.”

Young has a Jan. 30 trip scheduled for Arkansas.

“Everything is set for that visit,” he said. “I’m looking forward to it. If all goes well, I will probably commit on my visit.”
