Cougars get their PK of the futue

The Washington State Cougars have a tradition of having outstanding place-kickers on their team. Once again it looks like the Cougars have taken care of their place-kicking needs with the pledge of their kicker of the future Loren Langley (5-8, 160, 4.8) from Puyallup, Wash.
From former Cougar great Jason Hanson (12 years in the NFL with the Detroit Lions) and current All-Pac10 place-kicker Drew Dunning the Cougars do the job at the place-kicking position.

Langley works hard on improving his skills at the Chris Sailer Kicking Camp; Sailer was an All-America place-kicker for UCLA and was a member of the UCLA team that ran off 20 straight wins.
Langley was one of the best kickers in the camp. Pretty impressive when you take into consideration that the camp draws the nation’s best kickers on both the high school and JUCO levels.
“Loren is a great kicker,” Sailer said. “Washington State will be very happy with Loren’s ability.”
Langley hit on 8 of 11 on field goal attempts with a long of 45 yards. He went 32 of 35 on PAT attempts, and also handled the punting duties with a respectable 38.7 per kick average. Langley helped get Puyallup to the playoffs with a final record of 8-2 on the season.
Langley tripped to Washington State last weekend on December 5th and decided that WSU was the place for him.
Langley chose the Cougars over interest from Oregon State and Montana State.
