Cougar commit will take trips

Washington State Cougar pledge J.T. Diederichs (6-2, 215, 4.4) from Seattle (Wash.) Ballard has decided to test the waters. Rivals.com learned. Diederichs was offered by Oregon on Sunday evening and now Diederichs now has to be considered a soft commitment.
When Rivals.com called Diederichs he was on the phone with a coach. Diederichs’ status has changed from solid Cougar pledge to a guy who is now packing his bags and hitting the road.

Diederichs will be taking trips to Washington State, Washington, Oregon and Oregon State.
“I will still probably go to Washington State,” Diederichs said. “But I will look into my other options.”
In another interview with Ruth Robbins of RealDawg.com Diederichs said, "Oregon offered me two days ago. I talked to my mom and she wants me to take visits, I've decided I'm going to honor her wishes."
Diedrichs was first was offered a scholie in writing last May. When he blew up the Cougar camp in June, Diedrichs accepted.
The scouting report on Diederichs is he has it all the things necessary for big time success on the D-I level. He has an outstanding combination of size, speed, and agility.
Diederichs has been compared in his running style to former Husky tailback and NFL superstar, Corey Dillon. Like Dillon, Diederichs is a big body who can really move.
Deiderichs was selected all-state, all-area and all-league selection as a junior after rushing for over 1,200 yards.
Diederichs is also outstanding on the defensive side of the ball as a linebacker.
