Costa to be an Owl

Burlington (N.J.) Holy Cross outside linebacker Rick Costa was scheduled to take a visit to Rutgers over the weekend, but after making a big decision earlier in the week, there was no reason to take the trip. Monday night he had already decided that he was going to Temple.
“I verbally committed to Temple Monday night,” commented the 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. Costa had two more visits set, but after his decision, he canceled both.

“After talking to Rutgers and Syracuse, I just felt Temple was the best fit and most comfortable,” he explained. “I just fit in the best there.
“It is close to home and my family can come see me play. I just liked the atmosphere there.”
Costa had visited Temple in December for his only official trip, but had already visited his other top schools unofficially before making his decision.
