Corley schedules second official

Four-star Detroit (Mich.) King wide receiver Donnie Corley took his first official visit of the recruiting process to Michigan State the weekend of Sept. 11. The Rivals100 prospect plans to take several more official visits before making his college selection, and per his father, has scheduled his second official of the process for the weekend of Oct. 9, when he will travel to Tennessee.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Corley will make his visit to Knoxville the same weekend Tennessee hosts Georgia for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Neyland Stadium. Corley said in a video interview this weekend that Tennessee and Ohio State were two schools he would definitely officially visit before making his college decision. Michigan and Notre Dame round out the top five schools currently in contention for his commitment.
IN HIS WORDS: "They have always been high for me. They were one of my early offers and they've seen my potential from early on." - Corley to VolQuest.com after his last visit to Tennessee in June.
RIVALS' REACTION: Corley had already stated that Tennessee would get an official visit before making his decision, but the exact date of that trip had not been decided until just recently. Tennessee has long been a top team in Corley's recruitment, but they have not been able to maneuver to the top of his list and become the team to beat. A good visit to Knoxville could change that, and give the Volunteers a big boost in this recruitment.
