Coppet with a trio of offers

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas three-star running back Fred Coppet reports that he has now landed a trio of offers.
"I have Indiana, USF, and Boston College that I know of," Coppet said. "I think USF was my first offer."

The 5-foot-9, 176-pound speedster was scheduled to see South Florida recently, but had to miss checking out the Bulls due to a conflicting track meet.
"I haven't visited there yet," Coppet said of USF. "I missed my visit because I had a track meet. I am not really taking any visits right now because I have track meets all during the week and on weekends."
After track season concluded, Coppet is hoping to hit the road and check out a pair of schools.
"I am planning on visiting Georgia during the summer and I will visiting USF for sure with a couple of more players from my school," Coppet said.
In addition to his offers, the South Florida prospect also reports interest from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and Oregon. Early on he says one school stands out.
"Florida State," Coppet said when asked if anybody led for his services. "That was my dream school. Also, me and Coach (Eddie) Gran have a good relationship. Coach Gran has told me he is going to come down and watch me in the spring and we will go off of that."
As a junior, Coppet had 143 rushes for 859 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also had three receptions for 55 yards.
