Coples is waiting for more offers

Rivals100 defensive end Quinton Coples continues to hold one offer from North Carolina. The 6-foot-6, 242-pounder recently took an unofficial visit to Chapel Hill to check out the Tar Heels junior day.
"The only thing new for me is the North Carolina junior day," he said. "It was the weekend before last and I had a good time.

"I saw a lot of good things on the trip and in the practice, they looked really good. It was exciting. I also got to meet coach Blake and that was nice. He told me a lot of good things and thinks I really fit well into their program. I didn't get to meet coach Davis, but overall it was a good experience like always."
A variety of schools continue to stay in regular contact with the Kinston, N.C. prospect as they are on the verge of offering him.
"North Carolina is the only school to offer," he said. "I am getting interest from Florida, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina State, South Carolina and others. They say an offer should be coming."
The Gators will get a better look at Coples in the near future as he intends to visit Gainesville this month.
At this time, Coples claims there are no leaders for his services.
"I'm going to see everything and then make my decision, no one is standing out," he stated. "There are a few things I'm looking for in a college. I'm going to see if they have a high graduation percentage, good coaches and people that can develop me as a player. As for location, I'm undecided about that right now.
