Cooper passed the baton

Still owning the halls of Booker T. Washington, Reginald Youngblood paces through the basketball gym with his buddies. While his tenure at Washington will end in May, Youngblood's legacy at the inner city school will last for decades. But he's prepared to pass the baton.
"You hear to see Coop?" he asks.

Washington's next batch of Division I prospects of soon-to-be seniors will be headlined by James Cooper – a 5-10 cornerback. Cooper, a first-team, all-district selection as a junior, is receiving interest from Iowa, Colorado, Georgia, Clemson and Texas.
This day, Cooper is receiving his most significant interest from coach Joel North, who is vehemently getting an important point across to his senior leader in the school's hallway.
Cooper had five interceptions as a junior and will see some time at wide-out as a senior, if he makes it out of his coaches' office.
"I'll play just about anywhere," he said. "As far as colleges, I really like Iowa right now. I like their style and I really believe they have the best coach in the country."
According to Cooper, he will be attending the Nike Camp, several one-day camps held in Houston and Iowa's summer camp.
