Cooper looking forward to in-homes

Memphis (Tenn.) Melrose running back Graig Cooper is expecting some company this week.
Recruiters from Ole Miss and Miami (Fla.) both have told the three-star running back that they will be visiting the 5-foot-11, 185-pounder.

"That shows me that they are really interested," Cooper said.
College recruiters can start making in-home visits today.
Cooper said that he has been hearing regularly from coaches from Miami, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Tennessee. He will visit Lincoln the weekend of Dec. 9 and follow that with a trip to Coral Gables the next weekend. The weekend of Jan. 13, he says he will visit Stillwater.
He has not gone on record with a favorite, but the Hurricanes have long been a program he has had his eye on. Despite there being a camp in nearby Oxford, Miss., Cooper instead attended the NIKE camp on April 10 in Coral Gables.
"I have always liked Miami, even before the NIKE camp," he said. "When I went down there, I got to tour the sports complex, but I didn't get to see the campus. But I have always liked Miami."
Nevertheless, don't expect an early commitment from Cooper.

Cooper is closing in on the 2,000-yard rushing mark for Melrose, which will face Maryville (Tenn.) in the class 4A finals this weekend. He also has 30 touchdowns.
