Emmanuel Cook had one of the better days at the Miami NIKE Training Camp back in early April. He's used that strong performance, along with a strong performance on the field as a junior to start to rack up scholarship offers.
"I have three offers now," Cook, who measured 5-foot-10 and 197 pounds at the camp, said. "I've gotten an offer from Ole Miss, Temple and Akron. I've talked to all them on the phone, along with UCF."
Cook admits there is one team that he'd like to hear from in May and is hoping that the team shows more interest in him.
"I grew up on the Noles," Cook said. "I'd be really excited if they started to recruit me."
Cook said he's been working hard this spring to become a better overall player.
"I had 102 tackles and 23 tackles for a loss last year, but I can always get better," Cook said. "I'm working hard on trying to catch the ball better. I'm always around it, so I wanted to take some steps to get my hands on the ball more."
Cook clocked a 4.49-second time in the 40-yard dash at the camp.
