Conwell planning summer camps

While he awaits his first offer, linebacker Dakota Conwell of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Upper St. Clair decided to showcase his abilities at the recent Nike Camp at Penn State. Conwell turned in one of the better performances of the camp by a linebacker, and now is refocusing his attention on his recruiting process.
"Recruiting has been good," said Conwell, who is 6-foot-1 and 210-pounds. "Lots of coaches have been around. West Virginia and Pitt have been talking to me a lot."

Before his Nike Camp experience, Conwell had the chance to visit a few schools.
"I was at West Virginia about three weeks ago and visited Toledo, Eastern Michigan and Akron," said Conwell. "The visits were good. I really liked West Virginia. I like the coaches a lot and I'm really impressed with their facilities."
After these visits, Conwell attended the Nike Camp at Penn State.
"It was great," said Conwell. "I thought I competed well. I got the linebacker MVP, so I was pleased."
Up next for Conwell will be his summer camp schedule.
"For now I probably won't be visiting schools, but in June I'll be doing a bunch of camps," said Conwell. "As of now I will be at West Virginia and Pitt, but past that I'm not sure yet."
