Conwell has top three

Upper St. Clair, Pa., linebacker Dane Conwell has three schools at the top of his list. Two of them are fairly close to home, and coaches from all three have made their way to Upper St. Clair.
"Coach Wannstedt and coach Junko from Pitt have been here," Conwell said. "Coach Gibson from West Virginia, coach George from Indiana, coach Cushing from Northwestern, and coach Tressel from Cincinnati have been here.

"A couple others have stopped by. Vanderbilt, Buffalo, and some smaller schools have been here, but I don't remember the coaches names."
Conwell has talked to some coaches on the phone too.
"I talked to Youngstown State (Wednesday night)," Conwell said. "I talked to Toledo. I think that might be it so far."
Three schools have the early edge.
"Right now I'm real interested in Pitt, Indiana, and West Virginia," Conwell said. "Pitt and Indiana seem close to offering. Those are my top three.
"I'm pretty sure I'll go to Pitt and Indiana for camps, and West Virginia for sure."
The 6-foot-1 and 205-pound Conwell, playing both outside linebacker and tailback, led his team to a 9-2 record during his junior season. Conwell had eight sacks and rushed for 870 yards.
