Arkansas is the most recent offer for Rivals250 tight end C.J. Conrad. The La Grange (Ohio) Keystone four-star prospect learned of his offer from the Razorbacks on Monday.

"I have been talking to the coach all week and he said all the offers come through the head coach," Conrad said. "So, Coach Bielema checked out my film and they were ready to pull the trigger.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Conrad represents a prospect who can handle both elements of the tight end position, according to what he has heard from the Arkansas coaching staff.
"They said they are taking two tight ends in the class - one guy who is stockier and can block a lot and one guy who is going to split out and catch some balls," Conrad said. "They think I can be a major threat catching the football, but also I have to be a complete tight end as well. They run a pro-style, but have two tight ends on the field quite a bit."
Conrad is discussing taking a visit to Fayetteville in April for a spring practice or game. In the meantime, much of what he knows of the program is from head coach Bret Bielema's stint at a Big Ten program.
"I know Coach Bielema was at Wisconsin for a long time. I know he was very successful at Wisconsin," Conrad said. "He kind of had a down year this year at Arkansas, but he will bounce back. Just from talking to the coaches, I know he does develop tight ends really well."
The offer from Arkansas was Conrad's second from an SEC program. The other SEC program that has offered is the four-star's early leader.
"Of the schools that have offered, Kentucky is definitely my No. 1," Conrad said. "I visited there and I loved it. Coach Marrow, me and him have a really good relationship and we've talked for a long time. They play in the SEC, had a great recruiting class in 2014 and they are on the rise. I can see myself being a part of that."
A final decision is still some time off for Conrad, and he will be looking to add additional offers during the spring evaluation period.
"I want a couple more offers from schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State," Conrad said. "Those are kind of my four that I really want offers from."
Conrad will be making his next campus visit this weekend to Michigan to check out a spring practice.
