Connor ready for Penn State trip

Wallingford (Pa.) Strath Haven five-star inside linebacker Dan Connor has been committed to Penn State for quite some time, but even though the Nittany Lions struggled on the field there isn’t any wavering in his decision to play for PSU.
“I think I’ve been asked that by a million reporters now,” Connor said. “Every newspaper reporter that calls from here in state wants to know what I thought about the season and if what happened on the field is going to change my mind.

“I’m kind of tired of talking about it. I still get a few calls. Tennessee called the other day and Notre Dame did too. They’re all calling and making sure that I’m still going to Penn State, and I tell them that everything is still good and that it’s a solid commitment to Penn State.”
Connor, who rushed for more than 1,800 yards and 29 touchdowns on offense said he’s ready to visit Penn State this weekend.
“This is the weekend that they’re bringing in all of their commitments,” he said.
“It’s going to be great to put a lot of faces to the names. I talk all the time to Greg Harrison and A.Q. Shipley on the phone and we’ve become pretty close. We’re a tight-knit group.”
Penn State fans mark next Wednesday night on your calendar. Baring a change in schedules, Connor is expected to be a guest at 7 p.m. cst Wednesday night in the Rivals100 chat room.
