Southington, Conn. wide receiver Ryan Glasper wants to make a decision before his season starts. Right now it looks like a two-team battle for the three-star wideout's services.
"I have offers from Boston College, Syracuse and Rutgers," said the 6-foot-1, 190-pound wide receiver who runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash. "Right now I'm undecided between BC and Syracuse. I hope to decide by the end of August."
While the Eagles are recruiting Glasper as a free safety, the Orangemen want him as a wideout.
"I don't have a preference," he said. "I just want to play football. I'm looking more at the schools themselves. I've been to Boston College a couple of times and really liked it there and I was at Syracuse camp and it was great too. It's going to be tough."
As a junior, Glasper was an all-state performer and dominated on both sides of the ball and on special teams. His brother, Derek, is a basketball player at Middle Tennessee State but Glasper wants to stay close to home.
"I'd like to be close to home," he said. "I don't want to go too far away."
Glasper will decide between BC and Syracuse based on a few things.
"The campus, the academics, the coaches and the closeness of the players," he said. "I want to join a family and not just a football team."
