Connecticut ATH wraps up busy summer

Malik Golden is the No. 2 overall prospect in Connecticut and several schools consider him a priority recruit.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete from Cheshire Academy in Connecticut has an impressive offer list and schools have made it known they would love for him to come on board.

Golden's most recent trip was to UConn, just before he went on vacation a while back.
"I liked it," Golden recalled. "It was informative. Whenever I go to a school over and over again I learn more about it."
Is there a pull to stay in the state and play for the Huskies?
"I see the impact I could have on other recruits in Connecticut, just getting them to stay in the state and build UConn," Golden explained.
Of course, UConn has some stiff competition.
"I've also been to Rutgers, Penn State, Iowa and BC," he continued.
"I think I'm going to take officials to Iowa and Penn State. They aren't my favorites or anything because I don't have any right now. Hopefully I can make a top five within the next couple of weeks."
