Compton duo attracting recruiters

Compton, Calif., is home for a player who is getting plenty of recruiting action and his name is Genoa Dills. Dills is a 5-foot-11 wide receiver who weighs 190 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.
Dills has the nickname of “Thrill”. When you catch 76 receptions for 1,025 yards and 12 touchdowns then you throw in his five picks from his defensive back spot and you can understand why Dills has a moniker like “Thrill”.

“Thrill” was an all-area and all-league selection as a wide receiver for his stellar performance.
Most who know Dills feel that he hasn’t even begun to tap into his potential. He’s a hard worker and is very motivated to achieve the promise that his skills hold. Dills gets off the ball real well and knows how to get open.
“I rate Genoa’s hands a perfect 10,” Compton head coach Ray Taylor said. “He is improving his route running every day and I rate his route running an 8 ½.”
Dills is a versatile athlete who also excels in track and participates in the 400-meter, 200-meter and the 100-meter events.
Many D-I schools have showed recruiting interest in “Thrill”. USC, Oregon, Oregon State, ASU, Arizona, UNLV and Notre Dame have showed the three-year starter from Compton attention…
Compton head coach Ray Taylor wanted Pac10Recruiting and its readers about another player on his team. Keep your eyes on Marcus Mitchell. Mitchell plays both ways as a defensive back/running back. Mitchell is 5-foot-11, weighs 195 and runs the 40-yard in 4.6 seconds. He had over 100 tackles and two picks as a junior. Mitchell, who projects as a strong safety or weak-side linebacker, is a big hitter who is excellent in run support. Selected all-league as a junior.
USC, ASU, Oregon State, Oregon and Colorado State are showing early interest.
Stay tuned…
