The Miami Hurricanes feel strongly about their running back commit Joseph Yearby for the class of 2014.
Apparently other schools feel the same way. He hasn't set up trips, but Yearby is interested in Florida, USC and USF. His longest trip would likely be to Los Angeles.
"USC is just California," Yearby said. "Being a running back, they had Reggie Bush and I just want to go out and visit to see what they've got."
USF is on the board to get an official visit. Yearby stays in contact with running backs coach Telly Lockette.
One program that has jumped in the mix for the four-star running back is Louisville.
"They are like the big turnaround school," Yearby said when asked about the Cardinals. "Everybody from Miami is going up there and making a big name for themselves. I want to be a part of that."
The 'Canes kick off their season tomorrow against Florida Atlantic. Yearby is looking forward to watching Duke Johnson this season.
On Friday, Yearby's team faces Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage and five-star running back Sony Michel.
Yearby said he will attend the UM-Florida game in two weeks at Sun Life Stadium.
"That's going to be a pretty tough game," Yearby said. "But Duke is going to do some numbers this year -- that's the way I feel."
