Commitment keeping options open

Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks South offensive lineman Dave McClain committed to Maryland earlier this spring. McClain remains committed to the Terrapins, but many recruiters continue to stay in contact and McClain is listening.
"Recently coach Sheridan from Michigan called," McClain said. "I've been told West Virginia and Tennessee visited my coach."

"Maryland is my top choice. I committed to them. My commitment is based on the coaching staff. But I don't want to count anyone out. You never know. Coaches move around."
"If I had to name a top five it would be Maryland, Michigan, West Virginia, Ohio State, and Virginia."
"I might want to visit Ohio State. I might go to the Ohio State camp."
The 6-foot-5 and 325 pound McClain has been a varsity starter since his freshman year when he played defensive tackle. McClain has played both guard and tackle on offense and will play on that side of the ball in college.
