Rivals250 receiver Kojo Antwi saw his recruitment begin to take off at the beginning of the pandemic but never got a chance to really take a close look at many of the schools that were recruiting him. The Suwanee (Ga.) Lambert standout took official visits to Georgia, Texas A&M, Ohio State, and USC and an unofficial visit to Alabama in June once the dead period ended. In a very close race, Antwi decided that Ohio State will be the school he signs with.

WHAT THE BUCKEYES ARE GETTING

Antwi is an exciting receiver because he does a of things well and his wide range of skills makes him an easy fit in almost any offense. He has great short area quickness which helps him create a lot of separation and gives quarterbacks big windows to throw the ball into. Antwi isn't a burner but he does a nice job of getting down the field and can play through physical tactics used by defensive backs. Expect Antwi to be a frequently targeted receiver on short and intermediate passes because that's where he can do the most damage.

WHY IT'S BIG FOR OHIO STATE

Ohio State has an unbelievably loaded receiving corps right now and Antwi should find his niche as a slippery, reliable, and tough underneath receiver that can make key plays. The Buckeyes are way out in front in the 2022 team rankings and Antwi helps them put even more distance between them and the rest of the pack. Landing Antwi's commitment wasn't easy for Ohio State. Battling Georgia in their backyard and fending off Texas A&M and USC was a tall order but Ohio State receivers coach Brian Hartline has a reputation for landing the receivers he wants.
