Tennessee's 2024 recruiting class received another big boost with the commitment of Kaleb Beasley. The four-star cornerback out of Lipscomb Academy (Tenn.) announced pledge to the Volunteers on Friday night after his team's 43-21 win over Christ Presbyterian Academy (Tenn.).

Beasley chose the Vols over the likes of Notre Dame, Oklahoma, LSU, and Clemson.

WHAT THE VOLUNTEERS ARE GETTING...

At 6-foot, 170-pounds, Beasley is a big, athletic cornerback that has made big-time plays in big-time games throughout his junior season so far in helping lead Lipscomb Academy to a Top 25 ranking nationally.

Some of those plays are as follows - a 99-yard fumble return for a touchdown in a win over Thompson (Ala.), an interception in the endzone in a win over Milton (Ga.), an interception and a fumble return for a touchdown against Davidson Academy (Tenn.), and most recently, a pick-six in a win over Pure Academy (Tenn.).

Beasley doesn't shy away from contact in the secondary either and has delivered some big hits throughout the season while also being a threat in the kick return game as well. His talents also go beyond the gridiron, as Beasley is a standout basketball player.

WHY IT'S BIG FOR TENNESSEE...

Tennessee is red-hot right now coming off a big win over Alabama, setting at 6-0 on the season, and currently ranked No. 3 in the country. Josh Heupel and his staff are already off to a solid start in molding their 2024 class. Beasley has been an important cornerback target for Tennessee, especially since June when he camped with the Vols and got to work one-on-one with secondary coach Willie Martinez for the first time. The highly-touted, in-state product has been back to Knoxville for two games so far this fall, including Tennessee's 52-49 win over Alabama last weekend.

Beasley joins a 2024 class that now stands at No. 7 in the team rankings and also includes another in-state product in Carson Gentle along with two Rivals250 products in Jonathan Echols and Mazeo Bennett.

Beasley also stars for a loaded Lipscomb Academy (Tenn.) and is teammates with current Tennessee 2023 wide receiver Nate Spillman and his younger brother, Edwin Spillman, a top linebacker target for the Vols in the 2024 class.
