New Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze is having a monster day. The Early Signing Period has been good watching the Tigers shoot up the Rivals’ team recruiting rankings. The next big win of the day was flipping four-star cornerback Kayin Lee away from Ohio State.

WHAT AUBURN IS GETTING

Lee is a smooth corner who can line up against any type of receiver. Playing with Ellenwood’s (Ga.) Cedar Grove, Lee has locked down the big receivers and the small speedy pass catchers. The four-star has good hips and speed, he is a true SEC cornerback.

WHY THIS IS BIG FOR THE TIGERS

Auburn’s coaching staff is sending that message to the rest of the conference, they will be back in the mix for SEC titles sooner than later. The coaching staff under interim head coach Cadillac Williams did an amazing job keeping top players interested in the Tigers, and the new staff has cleaned house on Wednesday. A win for the fans is flipping an Ohio State commitment.

Every team in the SEC seemingly has a dynamic passing attack putting an extra emphasis on having cover corners; insert Lee. Lee will be able to compete for a job during fall camp bring more speed and talent to the depth chart this fall.
