THE SITUATION

Josh Moten didn't wait to pull the trigger and committed to Penn State in early February, just as his recruitment was starting to pick up speed. The Rivals250 defensive back out of Fort Washington (Md.) National Christian Academy continued to pick up offers and he finally decommitted from Penn State in mid-June.

Moten immediately started taking official visits. Texas A&M got the first one and drew rave reviews and then Nebraska got the next one. That turned out to be enough because he just announced his commitment to Texas A&M.
