Commitment a surprise for OL
Sarasota (Fla.) Riverview offensive lineman Steve Rissler was hoping to not have to worry about making a decision for a few more days. That timetable got pushed up quite a bit, though.
“I didn’t think I’d get that blown away by Florida, but I did,” Rissler, a three-star 6-foot-3, 315-pound offensive guard, said.

“I guess what I’m saying is that I’m going to Florida. I told coach Zook that I’m committed to them.”
Rissler said he doesn’t plan on taking any other visits and picked the Gators over interest from Florida State, Miami and Tennessee and offers from Georgia and South Florida.
Rissler is a physical lineman that excels in run blocking. Earned second team all-state honors as a junior. Plays primarily tackle in high school but will likely end up at guard at the next level.
