Commit Rumors Untrue
There had been a few rumors going around that free safety/wide receiver Lance Evans of Eastern Regional High School in Vorhees New Jersey had given a verbal to Penn State. They are just that – rumors.
"I like Penn State, I was up there for the Miami game so maybe that's how the rumor started,” said Evans, a 6-foot-5, 185-pounder. “I'm good friends with Adam Taliferro, we are from the same high school. I think that people are assuming that I will go there."

Lance has offers from Boston College, Penn State, Wisconsin, Rutgers, Iowa and Temple. During this first week of September he has had calls from Tennessee, Kansas State, Virginia and Virginia Tech along with the others that have offered.
When does he think he will commit?
"I think I'll wait until at least mid-season before I do anything. Right now I would visit Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee, Virginia and Boston College. I have been to Penn State and Rutgers so many times already."
Lance will be attending the Rutgers-California game on September 15th.
