Commit could take other trips

Aisea Tongilava remains committed to San Jose State but he's had such a strong senior season and he's going to take official visits so nothing is quite settled yet.
Still, the linebacker from Orange (Calif.) Lutheran said he loves the coaching staff at San Jose State and he'd be able to play outside linebacker so it could be tough to flip his pledge.

"I'm still committed," Tongilava said.
"When I first committed it was a really good football program and I love the coaches and it felt good that I would be playing outside linebacker and coming off the edge. It was the right choice for me."
Many others are still coming after Tongilava, who finished with 70 tackles and five sacks for Lutheran, which lost to Long Beach Poly in the first round of state playoffs last weekend.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound standout said a bunch of schools are still recruiting him and he's seriously considering some official visits in the coming months leading up to signing day.
"Recruiting has been good," Tongilava said. "I've been hearing from UC-Davis, Navy, Boise State, San Jose State, Cal, Colorado State and San Diego State mainly.
"I'm going to go on official visits to some colleges. I don't know where yet. I don't really have any idea on visits yet."
Tongilava has been committed to San Jose State since July 1.
