Colorado WR holding three offers

Denver (Colo.) Montbello wide receiver Jerrell Yates has helped lead his team into the playoffs and according to his coach, several schools have taken notice of his talents.
“Jerrell has been a very good receiver for us this year,” Montbello coach Oliver Lucas said. “He has been there for us when we have needed a catch. He has over 700 yards receiving and nine touchdowns in our 10 games this year.”

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Yates has yet to take any official visits, instead holding off until his season is completed.
“Jerrell has offers from Texas, UCLA and Colorado,” Lucas said. “Those, I guess, would be his top schools. He has not taken any official visits and I think he is planning on waiting until December to take his visits.
“Hopefully we have our season going for a bit more. We’re 7-3, but we’re hosting the playoff game this week against Regis. We were unbeaten in our league this year, so we want to keep that going.”
