Colorado WR getting hoops attention too

Many would argue that Colorado Springs (Colo.) Palmer wide receiver Eryk Allen, is the top wide receiver prospect in Colorado for the Class of 2003. Apparently some Division-I basketball coaches see him as a legit prospect in their sport also.
"That is something that come up recently that I wasn't really expecting," the 6-foot-4, 185-pound Allen said. "I played some AAU basketball this summer, and I received interest from the basketball coaches at Utah State, Wichita State, and Colorado State."

So is Allen looking to play football or basketball at the next level?
"Oh, I'm definitely looking to play football," Allen said. "I have scholarship offers from Colorado State and Wyoming for football at this point, as well as an
offer from D-IAA Montana. I am also hearing from Colorado, Boston College, Stanford, Michigan, Notre Dame, Arizona, Nebraska, Washington and Arizona State."
"Right now, if I had to, I would say Colorado State, Colorado and Oregon would be my top three right now."
