Colorado standout switching to QB

Littleton (Colo.) Chatfield quarterback Zac Robinson has shown his abilities at other positions in high school the past two years, but will make the switch to quarterback as a senior.
“Zac has the talent to play at the next level,” Chatfield coach Bill Pospisil said. “He’s going to move over to quarterback for us this season. He was playing receiver for us last year.”

During his junior season, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound Robinson hauled in 39 passes for 850 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also spent some time at quarterback where he threw for around 100 yards and rushed for 218.
“He was a second-team all-state choice at receiver last fall,” Pospisil said. “I hate losing him at receiver, but he’ll make us better by being under center. He’s a great all-around player. I could put him anywhere on the field and he’d be fine.”
Robinson does not have any scholarship offers so far, but is receiving interest from Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
“I know he likes all of those schools,” the coach said. “He’s interested in finding a place where he can play quarterback first. All of those schools are places he is getting information from or he’s been to their camps before. There will be other schools added to the list as the summer goes along.”
