Colorado set to add No. 20

Life is good if you’re a Colorado fan. First the Buffaloes beat Kansas State on the road and then pick up two commitments, but it looks like that’s about to grow by at least one more.
Stephenville, Texas, prospect Scott Lee says he is on the verge of committing to Colorado.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker has had scholarship offers from both CU and Texas Tech since the summer. He says he thinks it’s now time for him to take the Buffs up on their offer.
“I’m thinking that I’m going to go ahead commit to Colorado,” Lee said. “At first, I was kind of looking to go other places, but I like what Colorado is doing right now.”
Meanwhile the Buffs already have 19 scholarships committed to other players. Lee said he hopes to make his pledge the next time he talks to the Buff coaching staff, which usually occurs once a week.
Lee has also been receiving recruiting calls of late from Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Baylor.
Lee’s Stephenville team is 4-1 this season. He has made 70 tackles and recovered one fumble for the Yellow Jackets. Lee is ranked as a three-star prospect.
