Colorado RB adds two visits

Denver (Colo.) Mullen running back Maurice Greer had one official visit on the calendar earlier this fall. Now, he has two, but they are both to new schools.
“I have a couple more schools that are interested in me,” the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Greer said. “Arizona State and Michigan State are really showing me a lot of attention right now. They offered me scholarships and they are good programs.

“I still don’t have a favorite school. I will visit Arizona State December 17 and Michigan State January 14. I did have a Kansas State visit scheduled, but I won’t be able to make it on December 10. I have to take the ACT on December 11 so I can go on my visits and I need to get that done. I don’t have a date set for the make-up for the visit.”
Some speculation had floated that the four-star rated Greer had made a college choice over the weekend to the home-state Colorado Buffaloes.
“There is no truth to that stuff,” he said. “I haven’t made any kind of a choice. I’m interested in Colorado, but I’m interested in the others, too.”
Greer has helped lead his team into the second round of the playoffs.
“Things are going pretty good for us,” he said. “We are in the second round of the playoffs right now. That’s the goal. Just keep moving along one game at a time.”
On the season, the nation’s No. 9 rated running back has rushed for just over 1,600 yards.
