Colorado LB still waiting on offers

Denver (Colo.) Skyline linebacker Andrew Cook has put up good statistics over the past two seasons, but he is still waiting on his first scholarship offer.
"I've had two pretty good years the last two years," Cook said. "I had 166 tackles as a sophomore and 206 last year. I'm within 80 tackles of setting the all-time state record."

Those statistics earned Cook all-state honors as both a sophomore and a junior. But, despite the numbers, the 6-foot, 210-pounder is still waiting for his first scholarship offer.
"Colorado's coaches have indicated a scholarship offer could be coming just after my season starts this fall," Cook said. "K-State's coach also indicated the same thing."
Cook plans a busy summer with four football camps scheduled.
"I'm going to New Mexico's camp, Colorado State, Colorado and Kansas State," Cook said. "New Mexico State may offer when I'm at the camp if I show up as what they have seen on film. That would be the first one, so we'll see how it goes."
