Colorado LB still waiting on offers

Colorado Springs (Colo.) Cheyenne Mountain linebacker Ryan Cerise has yet to have a scholarship offer come his way, but which schools are recruiting him?
“There really is nothing new,” the 6-foot-3, 240-pound Cerise said. “I’m just hanging right now. There have been no schools offer at this point.”

Cerise’s coach, Brent Catrel knows he has a good player that teams will start to recruit heavily this fall.
“Ryan is doing well,” Catrel said. “There have been quite a few schools that have shown interest. The three schools in-state are schools that have been in touch with him as much as they can.”
Air Force, Colorado and Colorado State are joined by Holy Cross and Stanford as schools in pursuit.
“Those schools and several others have looked at film and don’t believe they have a chance. He’s looking for a high quality school and some of those that have expressed interest fit that model.”
This summer has been a productive one for Cerise in the weight room.
“Ryan is a heck of a player and doing unbelievable things in the weight room,” the coach said. “He’s getting bigger, stronger and faster all the time. He’s going to be a heck of a player for us this fall.”
