Colorado LB liking one school

Denver (Colo.) Montbello linebacker Durell Williams is getting closer to a decision as he nears his first official visit.
“I am leaning toward New Mexico State,” the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Williams said. “They are having me visit there the weekend of January 23. They have told me they will offer me a scholarship when I go on the visit there.”

Williams has continued to receive interest from other schools, but no visit invitations have been extended.
“I have gotten calls from Colorado, Colorado State, Nebraska and Arizona recently,” he said. “But, I think they are all wanting to make sure my grades are completely okay before they have me visit. I think they are in good shape and hopefully the other schools will too.”
Williams finished the year with 83 tackles and six quarterback sacks.
