Colorado LB hopes offers will come

Andrew Cook transferred to Littleton (Colo.) Chatfield from tiny Fort Lupton (Colo.) so he could play against a higher level of competition and improve his stock.
The 6-foot, 210-pound linebacker had a busy summer, attending camps at New Mexico, Kansas State, Colorado and Colorado State.

"I think most of the schools liked what they saw at the camps," Cook said. "But I think they want to wait and see how I do this fall before offering. Since they have only seen me compete at Fort Lupton, they want to see what I can do against better competition. Hopefully some schools will offer sometimes during the fall."
Cook continues to get letters from Wisconsin, Harvard, Colorado State, Colorado, Kansas State, New Mexico, Oregon and Stanford.
He is qualified academically.
