Colorado LB hearing from several
Denver (Colo.) Mullen linebacker Jake Duren has one Division I-AA scholarship offer, but several Division I-A schools continue to express interest.
“I am just waiting on other offers,” 5-foot-11, 219-pound. “I have one from Northern Colorado. I am getting a lot of calls and mail, though and we even had an assistant coach from Kansas State, Coach (Greg) Peterson at our game yesterday.

“I have talked to him about where I sit with them. He has told me they are interested, but they are just waiting to see from this point.”
Duren has also talked with Oregon, Colorado, Oklahoma State and Arizona State.
“I’ve talked with all of them recently,” he said. “I was going to visit Oregon Nov. 12, but I couldn’t get out there. They are going to get me scheduled after our season is done.”
The finish of the season will be this Saturday when Mullen lines up opposite Cherry Creek for the state championship game.
