Colorado LB has been busy camping
Arvada (Colo.) West linebacker Jonathan Lucas is getting quite a few looks.
“Colorado, Colorado State, and Wyoming have all called,” the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Lucas said. “I’m also getting letters from Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Columbia.”

Lucas has also taken some looks of his own.
“I’ve taken unofficial visits to Colorado and Colorado State, naturally,” Lucas said. “I also took a trip back east to visit Harvard and Princeton. The Ivy League schools are really nice. I’ll have to see what happens there.”
Jonathan visited Colorado and Colorado State again when he went camping this summer. He also went to the Nike camp in Boulder.
“The Colorado State camp was a seniors only camp. That was a lot of fun.”
Lucas registered 98 tackles last season, earning him first-team all-conference honors. He is also a member of the National Honor Society with a 3.93 cumulative GPA and a 28 on his ACT.
What is he looking for in a college?
“I want to get a good education. Also, I want to go someplace with a good college atmosphere. Something I’ll enjoy for four or five years.”
