Colorado DB getting some looks

College recruiters will have to change their contact information for Kellen Burl this year.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound defensive back, was at Littleton (Colo.) Highlands Ranch in 2001, but for his senior season, he has transferred to one of Denver's powerhouse programs, J.K. Mullen High School.

Burl is getting letters from a number of Division-I schools.
"I am getting letters from Colorado, Arizona,
Arizona State, Kansas State, Oregon, Utah, and San Diego State," Burl said. "Colorado and San Diego State have called me on the phone."
Burl has spent some time working on his game this summer including the Colorado football camp.
"I went to the Colorado one-day camp a couple of Saturdays ago," Burl said. "I'm going to play as good as I can this fall and see what happens. I have no offers as of
yet. Hopefully this fall will change that."
