Colorado ATH stars both ways

Denver (Colo.) Jefferson athlete Korey Askew was a true dual-threat quarterback for his team during his junior season. His statistics as both a passer and a ball carrier showed his skills equally.
"I play both ways," the 5-foot-10, 180-pound Askew said. "I'm a safety on defense and a quarterback when we have the ball. I'm getting mail from several schools. Nobody has offered me at this time."

The schools looking at Askew include Colorado, Colorado State, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Wyoming and Boise State.
"I'm going to go to camps at Nebraska and Colorado State," he said. "Those are the ones I am planning on at this point."
As a junior, Askew passed for 870 yards and 13 touchdowns. He rushed for 850 yards and 13 scores. On defense, he had 49 tackles, two quarterback sacks and 10 interceptions.
