Collins is an athlete on the rise

One offer is in for Forestville (Md.) Bishop McNamara quarterback Milan Collins. But, many other schools are taking a long hard look at the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder.
"He has an offer from Syracuse," Bishop McNamara head coach Brice Bevill said. "East Carolina really likes him and Maryland is interested in him along with Virginia too. I know Virginia really likes him. Rutgers likes him as well."

Bevill stated that Collins had a good showing in San Antonio too.
"He did well at Army," he said. "I think his stock is starting to go up. He is one of the top rated guys in the area and plays quarterback, but is going to do defense for us this year too."
What position is he at the next level?
"I think he's an athlete," he said. "It depends what the college needs him at. He's good enough to play quarterback. He's got a cannon for an arm and can make all the throws. He is athletic enough and a lot of colleges run spread.
"I know he can play defensive back and cornerback. He's got real good feet and is an athlete. He's a rare breed of a kid. He can do it all and do it well."
